The Guild Wars
A series of military conflicts between the human kingdoms of the northern continent — Ascalon, Kryta, and Orr — that raged for decades and finally ended in 1070 AE. Sparked when a volcanic eruption scattered the Bloodstones and the great guilds turned their power against one another, the wars gave the saga its name. This is their history — and everything that came before and after.

Age of Giants
Mythic — pre-history (after the Elder Dragons fell dormant)A jotun legend of a primordial age when the giant races — the jotun, the norn, and other giants — ruled Tyria wielding magic the likes of which will never be seen again. It ended when the Six Gods stripped that magic away, sowing confusion that turned the giant-kings against one another.
