The titans resurface in the Janthir Wilds
Titans, demonic beings forged long ago in the Foundry of Failed Creations, resurface in the Janthir region, spreading corruption and drawing power from the shards of a shattered bloodstone.
In Guild Wars 2 lore the titans are said to have been forged by the spirit known as the Fury, who after Abaddon's imprisonment used the flames of the Foundry of Failed Creations, in the Realm of Torment, to shape them from tormented souls, though the Titan page notes they may have existed even before the Foundry. In 1337 AE the Tyrian Alliance expedition into Janthir confronts three progenitor titans (Greer the Blightbringer, Decima the Stormsinger, and Ura the Steamshrieker) who spread corruption across the land.
The titans grow stronger from the Mists Tides washing over Janthir and feed on bloodstone shards from the exploded Janthir bloodstone, making them a mounting threat the Alliance must learn to fight on the storms' terms.
