The Kryptis breach Tyria and the Wizard's Tower is revealed
Demonic Kryptis from the Mists realm of Nayos breach Tyria, the long-hidden Wizard's Court and its leader Isgarren reveal themselves, and the Commander joins the Astral Ward as the Wizard's Court loses control of Amnytas and the Wizard's Tower.
In 1336 AE, with the barrier between worlds weakened, the Kryptis — fleshy, predatory demons of Nayos, the Realm of Dreams — open rifts and pour into Tyria under their king, Eparch. The crisis forces the secretive Wizard's Court into the open: its master, the ancient Seer-wizard Isgarren, and his Astral Ward had long watched over the world from the floating sky-realm of Amnytas and the Wizard's Tower.
As the invasion escalates, the Wizard's Court loses control of Amnytas and the Wizard's Tower to the Kryptis, and the Pact Commander takes up the mantle of Wayfinder to help turn the demons back. The campaign exposes mysteries reaching back to the time of the original Guild Wars — and Eparch's old grudge against Isgarren.
