The Forgotten arrive in Tyria from the Mists

According to human legend the serpentine Forgotten come into the world from the Mists — servants of the gods who would shepherd Glint and, much later, withdraw into the Crystal Desert.
Human legend holds that the Forgotten, a serpentine race devoted to the Six Gods, arrived in Tyria from the Mists around 1769 BE. The wikis note the date sits uneasily against other lore — the Elder Dragons are said to have last risen around 10,000 BE — so it should be read as legendary rather than firm. The Forgotten would go on to free Glint from Kralkatorrik's control and, in the age of humans, retreat into the Crystal Desert to keep their vigil.
