Isgarren founds the Wizard's Court

UndatedContested

The seer Isgarren, a survivor of the dragonrise and the Seer–mursaat war, parts from his kin, builds the World Spire, recruits gifted magic-users, and establishes the Wizard's Court to defend Tyria from threats out of the Mists.

After the elder races' failed attempt to slay Zhaitan, the seer Isgarren parted from the seer fhogos and began building the World Spire, a structure meant to power a shield that would guard Tyria from the Mists. He repurposed existing beacons — the Beacon of Ages and the Wizard's Tower among them — as conduits to feed that shield.

Isgarren gathered talented magic-users and ascended them through the seer ritual divcia nava, founding the Wizard's Court, a society of powerful wizards focused on protecting Tyria from external threats. His first recruit was the mursaat Mabon, a foe from the Seer–mursaat war whom Isgarren spared and then ascended. It is the Wizard's Court itself that later named this whole age the "Age of Beasts."
