Eparch's last push devastates the Astral Ward

The Astral Ward — the secret order the Seer Isgarren raised to guard the Wizard's Court and, through it, all of Tyria — bears the scars of this era in its own archives. An Astral Ward record preserved in the Heavy Book recalls that the ward's strength was still broken long after the Century of Prophecy: "the ward's numbers are still weak following Eparch's last push during the Century of Darkness. Hundreds of years, and we're still climbing out of that hole."

Eparch, the Midnight King of the demon realm Nayos, had warred against Isgarren and Amnytas for centuries after the Seer denied him a seat in the Wizard's Court and banished him back to the Mists. The wiki names this devastating assault only by the era it belongs to, giving neither an exact year nor a battlefield account — the Century of Darkness is remembered above all for the wound Eparch left on its keepers.
