Death’s deposed god strains at his chains
As Balthazar’s war stirs the realms of the dead, Grenth’s first priestess Desmina seeks help confronting the imprisoned former God of Death, Dhuum, within the Hall of Chains.
Dhuum is the former God of Death, usurped and imprisoned long ago by Grenth with the aid of the Seven Reapers. While the living world is consumed by Balthazar’s campaign, the deposed god strains against his bindings in the Hall of Chains in the Underworld.
Desmina — Grenth’s first priestess, who long ago asked the Prince of Winter for vengeance in exchange for her loyalty — seeks help to confront the threat. During Dhuum’s invasion of the Hall of Chains her body and spirit are split, her body becoming the Soulless Horror. The confrontation is told through the Hall of Chains raid released alongside Path of Fire.
