After years of indefinite ceasefire, the Ebonhawke Treaty between Queen Jennah of Kryta, Duke Wade Samuelsson of Ebonhawke, and the three charr High Legion imperators is formally signed, ending open war in Ascalon.

The Ebonhawke Treaty — also called the Treaty of Ebonhawke and named for the human Stronghold of Ebonhawke — formally ends the centuries of hostility between humans and charr in Ascalon. From the indefinite ceasefire that began in 1324 AE, diplomats from both sides negotiated terms at Summit Peak in the Fields of Ruin.

The treaty is signed by Queen Jennah of Kryta and Duke Wade Samuelsson of Ebonhawke on the human side, and by Imperators Bangar Ruinbringer, Malice Swordshadow, and Smodur the Unflinching of the charr High Legions. Bangar, who harbors a deep hatred of humans, reportedly caved to signing only because he could not afford a civil war on top of everything else — a resentment that festers toward the charr conflict he will later ignite.
