The Zephyrites' sky-ships fall in Dry Top

The Zephyrites — wandering keepers of the teachings of the dragon Glint, who travel aboard the floating Zephyr Sanctum — had returned to Tyria. As their fleet crossed the Maguuma Wastes, the sylvari Aerin, secretly turned by Mordremoth's call, sabotaged the ships and sent the Zephyr Sanctum and three other vessels crashing down into the parched valley of Dry Top.

The survivors made a refuge of the wreckage while the heroes investigated the crash. The disaster drew the Commander and their companions into the Maguuma Wastes for the first time, onto the trail of the Master of Peace and the precious cargo he carried — the last unbroken egg of Glint.
