Glint compiles the Flameseeker Prophecies
The ancient dragon-prophet Glint sets down the Flameseeker Prophecies, foretelling the destruction of Ascalon, the rise of an undead force, and the fall of the Mursaat at the hands of the Chosen.
Glint was said to be the first creature on Tyria, sent by the gods to guard the world during its shaping and later given the Forgotten as servants. In 272 AE she compiled the Flameseeker Prophecies, a body of predictions concerning the future of Tyria and the survival of humanity in the face of terrible events.
The prophecies foretold the Searing of Ascalon, the death of Prince Rurik, civil war in the Shiverpeaks, the coming of the undead, the release of the Titans through the Door of Komalie, and the Ascension of the Chosen who would topple the Mursaat. They did not come to fruition until 1072 AE, eight centuries later.
