The Krytan civil war ends

The first storyline of Guild Wars Beyond. The Shining Blade, freedom fighters championing Princess Salma’s claim, wage war against the oppressive White Mantle for control of Kryta. The conflict culminates in an epic defense of Lion’s Arch; with the White Mantle broken, Salma takes the throne. The short Hearts of the North epilogue follows. These events run concurrently with the rise of the Ministry of Purity across the sea in Cantha.
