Peitha overthrows Eparch and becomes Midnight King of Nayos

1336 AE–1337 AE1,846–1,847 CC1,536–1,537 DRFirm date

The Kryptis lord Peitha allies with the Wizard's Court in 1336 AE, leads a rebellion against her tyrannical uncle Eparch, and by 1337 AE defeats him and becomes the new Midnight King of Nayos.

Peitha, a Kryptis lord of House Nephus, feels empathy for her people under Eparch's reign of fear — a tyranny built on the demon-king literally feeding on his own subjects to grow stronger. In 1336 AE she makes telepathic contact with the Pact Commander and allies with the Astral Ward and the Wizard's Court, guiding the Wayfinder through Nayos.

Their campaign carries the fight into the demon realm itself. At his Citadel of Zakiros, Eparch is brought down by Peitha, the Commander, and the Astral Ward; rather than consume his power as he demands, Peitha blasts him apart. By 1337 AE she succeeds him as the Midnight King of Nayos, ushering in more peaceful relations between the Kryptis and the people of Tyria.
