The Six Gods first set foot on Tyria at the Artesian Waters
Drawn by the powerful magic of the Artesian Waters in Orr, the Six Human Gods first set foot upon the world of Tyria. Human scriptures hold that Dwayna was the first to appear at the spring, which became a venerated place.
The Artesian Waters, also called the Source of Orr, is a spring system whose magic was potent enough to draw the Six Human Gods to Tyria from the Mists. According to the Wizard's Court's reckoning of the Age of Beasts, this is where the Six Gods first set foot upon the world.
Human scriptures say Dwayna was the first god to appear there, sometime before the gods brought humans to Cantha in 786 BE, and the site became venerated thereafter. The gods would later recover the Seers' Bloodstone, give magic to humanity, and establish the city of Arah in Orr — but their arrival at the Artesian Waters marks the gods' first footfall on Tyria, late within this long age.
