In 1013 AE the Third Guild War breaks out among the human kingdoms, setting Kryta against Ascalon and later drawing in Orr. The conflict would grind on for 57 years.
The Third Guild War began in 1013 AE, reigniting the long rivalry of the human guilds. It initially set Kryta against Ascalon, and later drew in Orr as foreign guilds fought openly in the streets of Arah, the Orrian capital.
The war dragged on for fifty-seven years, becoming the last and longest of the Guild Wars. It was brought to an abrupt end in 1070 AE — not by any treaty, but by the Searing, the cataclysmic charr assault that shattered Ascalon and forced the surviving kingdoms to turn from one another toward a common enemy.
