Jormag awakens in the north
The Elder Ice Dragon Jormag arises beyond the Far Shiverpeaks, raising a bitter four-year blizzard and marching south on the norn, killing them by the hundreds.
In 1165 AE Jormag, the Elder Dragon of ice, awoke in the frozen north beyond the Far Shiverpeaks. The dragon conjured a savage blizzard that raged for four years, burying the mountain passes, shattering the land, and carving new inland seas as it advanced on the norn homeland.
Despite their preparations, the norn were battered and slain in the hundreds by Jormag's forces. A hunting party led by Asgeir Dragonrender struck back, killing the dragon champion Frostfang, but the cost of standing against Jormag would force the norn to make a fateful decision.
