Morah is founded to watch over the Mouth of Torment
After Abaddon's fall, the Elonian city of Morah is established to keep watch over the Mouth of Torment — the rift to Abaddon's prison — though it would be abandoned two centuries later as the Desolation crept over it.
After Abaddon was struck down and sealed away, the city of Morah was raised at the edge of the newly poisoned Desolation to keep watch over the Mouth of Torment, the weakness in the world where the rebel god had fallen and the rift to his Realm of Torment hangs.
Morah was ever a haunted place. According to its outpost description, it was abandoned two hundred years after its founding, succumbing to the spreading sulfurous desert. In the present day its crumbling ruins still litter the Desolation, further shattered as the Realm of Torment seeps back in through cracks in reality.
