The charr war ends as fire and ice both wake

The charr civil war closes, Braham Eirsson is called by the Spirits of the Wild as the norn of prophecy, and the Elder Dragons Jormag and Primordus both reawaken.

The charr civil war ignited by Bangar Ruinbringer comes to an end, but the Ice Dragon Jormag — whom Bangar served — is now fully roused. Around the same time the Spirits of the Wild call upon Braham Eirsson, the young norn guardian and son of Eir Stegalkin, as the norn of prophecy destined either to slay Jormag or to fall to them. Having cracked the Fang of the Serpent, Braham must seek out the lost Spirits’ shrines and demand their power.

This is the turning point of the Icebrood Saga: Jormag, the Elder Dragon of Ice and Persuasion who corrupts not by force but by seductive promises, and Primordus, the Elder Dragon of Fire and Destruction and the first to wake in modern times, are both active again. Their twin awakening sets fire and ice on a collision course across Tyria.
