The Dragon Bash festival returns to celebrate Kralkatorrik’s defeat, having moved from Lion’s Arch to the norn city of Hoelbrak.
Dragon Bash is a summer festival celebrating resistance against — and victories over — the Elder Dragons, filled with games, fireworks, and dragon-bashing activities. It was originally celebrated in Lion’s Arch and sponsored by the Captain’s Council after Zhaitan’s defeat.
With Kralkatorrik slain, the festival returns in 1332 AE to honor the Crystal Dragon’s fall, and from this point it is hosted in the norn capital of Hoelbrak rather than Lion’s Arch — a fitting move north as the era’s focus shifts toward the Shiverpeaks and the dragons of fire and ice.
