Two djinn wager over creation itself
The fire djinn Qadim makes a bet with his rival, the water djinn Zommoros of the Mystic Forge, setting off the contest told in the Mythwright Gambit raid.
Qadim is a fire djinn and collector of exotic specimens, a long-standing rival of Zommoros, the water djinn of Elona who dwells within the Mystic Forge and tends to speak only through Miyani. Their feud comes to a head in a wager over their respective powers of creation.
The contest is dramatized in the Mythwright Gambit raid, where adventurers enter the Mystic Forge and face Zommoros and then Qadim himself. Qadim’s defeat here sends him fleeing home to the djinn city of Ahdashim to seize a far greater power — the seed of the next chapter of the djinn’s story.
