Lion's Arch falls and Scarlet Briar is slain

Scarlet Briar's combined forces descended on Lion's Arch in her final, open assault. Holographic horrors and miasma drove the citizens to flee while her massive drill-airship, the Breachmaker, bored down into the bedrock beneath the city. The Pact Commander and the heroes fought through her defenders and at last cut Scarlet down in the depths of her own machine.

The victory was hollow: Lion's Arch lay shattered, much of the free port destroyed, and its survivors scattered. Worse, Scarlet had never been mad without purpose — her drill had struck exactly where she intended, and her death would prove to be only the prelude to a far greater catastrophe.
