Ascalonian refugees flee to Kryta, the Lich is thwarted at the Door of Komalie, and the Flameseeker Prophecies are fulfilled as the Titans are defeated.
The "present day" of Guild Wars Prophecies. Driven from their ruined homeland after the Searing, Ascalonian refugees stream westward into Kryta. The Lich Lord schemes to open the Door of Komalie and loose the Titans upon the world; pursuing the path laid out in Glint’s Flameseeker Prophecies, heroes confront and defeat the Titans, fulfilling the prophecy and ending the immediate threat to Tyria. These events unfold in the same year as the Canthan crisis of the Factions campaign.
