Turai Ossa defeats Palawa Joko at the Battle of Jahai
After a hundred days of battle against Joko's undead host, the Elonian hero Turai Ossa defeats the lich-king in single combat; unable to kill him, his forces bind Joko deep in the earth and the Order of Whispers keeps the prison secret.
By 862 AE the undead warlord Palawa Joko had overrun much of Elona. The hero Turai Ossa rallied the provinces and met Joko at Jahai, where after a hundred days of bloody fighting against grey giants and undead centaurs he flanked the host and beat Joko in single combat. Joko could not be slain, so Turai's elite chained him by magic and buried him deep beneath a monument in the Desolation; the newly formed Order of Whispers guarded the secret of his prison. Joko would remain entombed until freed during the rise of Nightfall, more than two centuries later.
