Eparch leads the first Kryptis invasion of Tyria

In 635 AE Eparch, the tyrannical Midnight King of the Kryptis, led the first outright Kryptis invasion of Tyria. His forces struck at the Wizard's Tower, and in the assault the wizards Akeem and Vass were killed, bringing Eparch and the Seer-wizard Isgarren to blows a second time.

The attack revived a grudge far older than the invasion: in the distant past Eparch had already found his way into Tyria, only to be refused a place among the wizards and banished back to Nayos. His return in force was the first of the recurring incursions that would swell, over the centuries, toward the great Kryptis breach of Tyria in the modern age.
