Branded ogres besiege Ebonhawke
Newly Branded ogres and hyenas under Chief Kronon storm the human stronghold of Ebonhawke during a celebration for Queen Jennah; the shared threat of Kralkatorrik's corruption begins to turn old human and charr enemies toward fighting side by side.
In the wake of Kralkatorrik's flight, the Branded ogres and hyenas of Chief Kronon turned on Ebonhawke in 1320 AE. During festivities honoring Queen Jennah, the crystalline horde slaughtered a charr encampment laying siege to the city, then smashed through the walls to fall upon the Ebon Vanguard and Seraph defenders.
Queen Jennah ultimately broke the assault by conjuring a terrifying illusion of Kralkatorrik itself, rallying and transforming the defenders' resolve. The cost was steep — one hundred thirty-three Seraph died, among them Logan Thackeray's brother Dylan, and it was to defend Jennah here that Logan had abandoned Destiny's Edge. Facing a common, world-ending enemy, humans and charr began, haltingly, to fight together rather than against one another — the first step toward the peace later sealed at Ebonhawke.
