The first of the Primeval Kings begins his reign from Fahranur, the First City in Istan, founding the Primeval Dynasty — the moment from which Elona reckons its years (0 DR).
Roughly five years after humans reached the southern coasts, the first Primeval King took his throne at Fahranur, the First City, on the island of Istan around 200 BE. His line, the Primeval Dynasty, would expand Elonian rule into Kourna, Vabbi, and the edges of the Crystal Desert, where its kings were entombed. Elona's Dynastic Reckoning (DR) counts its years from this founding: 200 BE is 0 DR. The dynasty endured until the Scarab Plague extinguished its royal house in 452 AE.
