In 604 AE, Isgarren's Wizard's Court establishes the Astral Ward (a secret order under its first Warden, Taryn), sworn to protect Tyria from various supernatural threats.
In 604 AE the Wizard's Court, the hidden circle of mages led by the ancient Seer-wizard Isgarren, founded the Astral Ward: a secret order dedicated to shielding Tyria from various supernatural threats. Its first Warden was Taryn, and its members swore oaths of allegiance to Isgarren and the Court.
Working in secrecy from the Wizard's Tower and the sky-realm above it, the Ward would keep its long vigil largely unseen for centuries, until the Kryptis crisis of the 1330s AE finally forced it, and the Wizard's Court behind it, into the open.
